The 21st Anniversary 2017 Keswick Beer Festival was held on June 2nd & 3rd and was a fantastic sucess! For the 2018 22nd Beer Festival tickets will go on sale online at 10:00 am on December 1st – so please book this in your calendar now!!
Keswick Beer Festival is a fundraising event run jointly by Keswick Lions and Keswick Rugby Club. Funds raised are split jointly between the two organisations. Keswick Lions use their funds to support local charities and works in the local area. Keswick Rugby Club use the funds raised to operate a large youth development programme for 5 – 17 year olds throughout the year.
All the staff working at the festival do so as volunteers.
The 2017 Beer Festival will be the 21st Keswick Beer Festival, from humble beginnings in 1997 this event has grown into an event attracting nearly 6000 Beer enthusiasts over two days.
The Keswick Beer Festival is held on Davidson Park the home of Keswick Rugby Club conveniently located in the heart of Keswick with easy walks to accommodation, restaurants and shops.
Keswick on Derwentwater is a stunning Lakeland town with an abundance of activities, events, accommodation, restaurants and bars.
The area is renowned for sports with excellent walking, climbing, paragliding, mountain biking, fishing, golfing, windsurfing, rowing and sailing (amongst others!). There is also a cinema, art galleries and good variety of shopping.
So, Mr John Branthwaite, how about we try having a Beer Festival at Keswick Rugby Club?
